Expect songs like ‘I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry’, ‘Wichita Lineman’, ‘Big River’, ‘Always on My Mind’, and ‘Help Me Make It Through the Night’, timeless pieces shaped by heartbreak, resilience, longing, and quiet truth.

The Boondocks are Anthony Toner (vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, lap steel), Mark Crockard (vocals, acoustic guitar), and Marcus McAuley (mandolin, acoustic guitar). For this show The Boondocks will have a special guest John McCullough (Ronnie Greer Band, Van Morrison) on piano.

This is an honest and heartfelt salute to that golden era of singers and songwriting. It’s country music in its original skin: on the back porch, with acoustic instruments and storytelling with soul. Closer to its roots in bluegrass, classic country music embraces beautiful melodies, touching words, soaring harmonies and intricate solos.
