School Visits

Throughout the year we offer lots of creative learning opportunities for students of all ages. Your class can experience a live theatre show, enjoy world-class art exhibitions, or enjoy a creative workshop led by professional artists.

Working closely with the current curriculum, we’ve created a number of opportunities to support post-primary school learning at The Market Place Theatre, Armagh.

When it comes to bringing a lesson alive, The Market Place Theatre, Armagh is the place to be. Steven Spielberg and the USC Shoah Foundation present ‘The Last Days’, the Academy Award winning documentary capturing the true stories of Holocaust survivors. The powerful films traces the compelling experiences of five Hungarian survivors who fell victim to Hitler’s brutal war against the Jews during the final days of World War II. Join a grandmother, a teacher, a businessman, an artist and a U.S. Congressman as they return from the United States to their hometowns and to the ghettos and concentration camps in which they were imprisoned.

This event will take place in our studio theatre with an unreserved, tiered seating layout.

This film is being screened in commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day 2025.
