Whitework stitching known for its delicate beauty, uses white or naturalcoloured thread on matching fabric, creating intricate designs. Explore a variety of techniques, including surface embroidery, Hardanger, drawn thread, Mountmellick and cutwork, while enjoying the mindful and stress-relieving benefits of needlework. 

All materials provided, including fabric, needles, embroidery hoop and thread and a detailed pattern. 

In this two-hour workshop you’ll design and create a beautifully delicate cylindrical porcelain candle holder, using an array of Christmas themed stamps and clay tools. Due to the translucent qualities of the porcelain, your lantern will glow with a warm white light when lit from within. Pieces will be glazed and fired for you and ready to collect before Christmas.
