Join poet Niamh McNally this October for an immersive and reflective creative writing workshop in the ‘darker half’ of the year. Together, we will write along the boundary of the physical, living world, and the non-physical realm. Through prompts, discussions, visual inspirations, ideas, and fun, we will explore nature’s change at the beginning of winter, and inspire our writing through explorations of Celtic traditions, rituals, mythologies, ancestry, the supernatural, and a sprinkle of spookiness too! 

This workshop will cover the essentials of 3D wet felting, including resist felting to create seamless, hollow wool forms, layering fibres for depth, colour and texture to bring your design to life. You will make a bespoke handbag with your own decorative designs and colour choices and a 3D pot that can be used practically to hold many household items or simply display as a sculptural artwork.
