During this relaxed workshop with poet Niamh McNally, we will explore everything that makes us, us. From our names to our identities, our histories to our future selves. Come and write the version or versions of you, through experimental poetic structures and forms, poetic techniques, and most importantly, we will use that beautiful poetic licence to play and find freedom in our writing! 

Create your own silver Claddagh ring in this hands-on jewellery workshop inspired by Irish tradition, symbolism, and craftsmanship. Claddagh rings are enjoying a huge resurgence in popularity, with their timeless symbol of love, loyalty and friendship feeling more relevant and stylish than ever in contemporary jewellery. 

In this workshop, the heart and crown elements will be pre-made in silver and ready to work with. Goldsmith Tara Campbell will teach you how to solder the pieces together, cut and shape the silver shank into the iconic hands that cradle the heart, size your ring for the perfect fit and carefully form everything into a finished ring, using traditional goldsmithing techniques.
